Over the weekend, I saw southern Albertans, and people from across Canada, pull together and work to rebuild the communities devastated by the recent flood. Their determination and resolve was incredible to see.
On Sunday afternoon, I participated in relief efforts in High River. I was just one of thousands of volunteers, but I was and continue to be determined to help. I left Alberta feeling inspired by Canadians pulling together to help each other in their time of need.
Now more than ever, community organizations are critical to ensuring that all of those impacted by the floods are cared for.
I hope you will join thousands of Canadians in making a donation to the Red Cross and support the important work the Red Cross is doing to help families in need.
