NOTICE OF THE NOMINATION MEETING
TO SELECT
THE LIBERAL CANDIDATE FOR CALGARY CENTRE

Pursuant to the National Rules for the Selection of Candidates for the Liberal Party of Canada, the call has been issued for a meeting to nominate a candidate in Calgary Centre / Calgary-Centre.

The meeting is being called pursuant to the provisions of Section 1 of the above Rules.

DATE OF MEETING: Friday, November 28th, 2014

STARTING TIME: 6:00 PM

Please join us in a celebration of the nomination of Kent Hehr.

Kent has served in the Alberta Legislature as the Member for Calgary – Buffalo since 2008. Kent serves as the Alberta Liberal Party’s critic for Education, Energy, Finance, and several other portfolios.

A lawyer and a community activist, Kent practised law with Fraser Milner Casgrain prior to serving in the Legislature. He has undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Calgary, and has been named the Graduate of the Decade by the University of Calgary Alumni Association, and in 2008 was named by the Calgary Herald as one of “20 Compelling Calgarians.”
