Christopher Brown Nominated as Liberal Candidate in Peace River – Westlock
SLAVE LAKE, AB – Members of the Peace River – Westlock Federal Liberal Association met Sunday, August 23 and nominated Christopher Brown as the Liberal Party of Canada candidate in Peace River – Westlock for the next general election.
Christopher Brown grew up in a small town in rural Ontario, Chris moved to Lloydminster Saskatchewan in 2013 to pursue his journalism career. In 2015 Christopher moved north to Slave Lake to take on his current role as Communications Coordinator for the Town of Slave Lake. Christopher obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario. He currently resides in Faust, Alberta.
Welcoming his nomination, Christopher stated, “I understand that the role of a Member of Parliament is to represent our riding’s residents, and their concerns, in Ottawa. I believe that working with a progressive team under the leadership of Justin Trudeau, the Liberal Party of Canada can help bring fairness to the middle class, and those working hard to join it. I look forward to hitting the campaign trail, and bringing real change to the doorsteps of Peace River – Westlock over the coming weeks.”
