Travis Dueck Nominated as Liberal Candidate in Sturgeon River – Parkland
SPRUCE GROVE, AB – Members of the Sturgeon River – Parkland Federal Liberal Association met Thursday, September 17 and nominated Travis Dueck as the Liberal Party of Canada candidate in Sturgeon River – Parkland for the next general election.
Born in Prince George, British Columbia, Travis moved to Alberta in 2011, and attended Parkland Composite High School in Edson. In 2012, he was one of a handful of students from across the country who appeared before the Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment, and National Resources on the topic of Canada’s energy sector. Travis is currently studying Political Science at the University of Alberta.
Welcoming his nomination, Travis stated, “I am excited to represent the Liberal Party of Canada in Sturgeon River – Parkland. I look forward to campaigning on Justin Trudeau’s plan for Real Change over the coming weeks. I hope to meet as many Sturgeon River – Parkland residents as possible in the coming weeks.”
