The Governing Council of the Liberal Party of Canada in Alberta is elected on a biennial basis and oversees the general operation and administration of the organization.

LPCA Governing Council

The Governng Council of the Liberal Party of Canada in Alberta is comprised of the Executive Committee, elected Alberta riding association Presidents, Presidents of each of the commissions, Regional Chairs, and Chairs of the Standing Committees.

Under the overall direction of the Governing Council, the Party's many activities are guided by the actions of a number of standing committees. These include: organization, policy, constitutional & legal affairs, multiculturalism, finance and revenue.
