Alberta Seniors' Commission

We are a new Commission and Senior's are being heard.  Senior Liberals are active and form the back bone in assisting with elections and crafting policies which reflect liberal values.

The Commission is committed to ensuring that the issues and concerns of Seniors are addressed in every community in Alberta.  By providing us with your input we can use your wisdom and experience to help chart the future direction of the Commission and acheive our primary goal to elect more Liberals from Alberta.

- March 13th, 2010: Workshop on Senior's Care and Housing and Delegate Selection meeting

- Seniors' Commission Delegate Selection Meeting for the LPCA General Meeting and Policy Convention in Lethbridge from April 30th to May 2nd, 2010.

- December 1st, 2009: Seniors' Think Tank Follow-up: Workshop on Financial Security
To discuss the challenges associated with financial security for Canadians in general and seniors in particular, with a view to identifying Canadian expectations within a framework of Liberal values and priniciples, responsibilities for financial security and potential solutions.

In celebration of the UN International Day of Older Persons
Think tanks on Canadian Democracy, Seniors Issues and Liberal Values in the 21st Century.
