National Policy Bylaw Consultations

Posted on August 3, 2016

At our national biennial convention in Winnipeg last May, the Liberal Party of Canada adopted a completely new constitution. One major change in this new constitution is how and where governance rules will be situated. Specifically, the bulk of previous rules will be located in bylaws.

The national board has directed particular members to conduct consultation on their particular bylaw area to provide input for the drafters of the bylaws along with representatives from each province and commission.

In Alberta, we have created a survey to receive feedback in a structured way for the National Policy Bylaw. The survey can be accessed here:

Please fill out this survey no later than August 19, 2016 to have your feedback included in the reports. This survey is available for any Registered Liberal to fill out, so please feel free to forward this to anyone in your riding or commission who might be interested.
